Topic 1: Design for Fire Safety: Built Perspectives
Synopsis: This session will cover key building fire safety requirements of the Singapore’s Fire Code 2018 and provide operational perspectives how these fire safety features are to be maintained. Session also provide insights into the workflow of managing building’s Addition & Alteration (A&A) Works and Minor A&A Works with respect to Fire Safety Act and Regulations.
Speaker Profile: Dr Sin Siang-Meng, Ivan
Ivan is an associate professor of occupational safety & health in NUS Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering. He is currently the program chair for the NUS MSc Program in Safety, Health and Environmental technology. Ivan comes with 25 years of experience in the areas of safety and health, with focus in fire and chemical process safety.
Topic 2: How Different is SHMS with SS-ISO 45001: Insights
Synopsis: This session will cover the requirements of SS-ISO 450001 and how companies can go about transiting between the SS 506 Part 3 Certification into SS-ISO 45001. Session also provide insights into the new SS 651 for chemical industry and how this complement the Total WSH Movement, aligning to WSH 2028 Objectives.

Er Chui is a professional engineer by practice, and a registered Safety and Healthy Auditor for MOM. He also provides consultancy service in noise, and management systems such as ISO45001, bizSAFE, SS506, etc. He is also conducting management systems audit for DNVGL.
