About NUSSHE

The NUS Alumni Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Society, established on 26th June 2018, serves as a dynamic platform for fostering the exchange of ideas, knowledge, and best practices among professionals and alumni in the field of safety, health, and environment. Since its inception, the Society has actively organised and participated in a range of initiatives aimed at supporting professional development and encouraging collaboration with other professional bodies. These efforts reflect the Society’s ongoing commitment to nurturing a vibrant and engaged community of SHE practitioners who uphold the highest standards of practice and fellowship.

Guided by its core objectives, the Society seeks to provide opportunities for lifelong learning, promote the advancement of SHE knowledge through the NUS programme, and cultivate strong connections among graduates. By leveraging partnerships with allied organisations and hosting courses, conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and visits, the Society plays a vital role in enhancing the profile and professional standing of the SHE discipline in Singapore. Through these efforts, the Society contributes meaningfully to national goals and fosters a culture of continuous improvement within the SHE profession.
